One lesson with Demetra inspires me more than any motivational book I’ve ever read!
I remember the time when I used to hear phrases like: “In order to change the world you need to change yourself first” or “You need to accept who you really are in order to become who you really want to be”.
To me those phrases didn't make sense at all! In fact, I was getting angry every time I heard something like that. Why do I need to change myself? Why should I adjust to the problem? For me, it was equal to denial, to giving up, to being weak, to being wrong. And so many people kept using such phrases around me, like it was the only solution to every single problem…
Funny thing is: it turns out that all those phrases are actually correct, but the attitude with which people usually say them and the way they tend to use them is misleading, or at least it was to me.
When I met Demetra each lesson flew like it was just minutes, not hours!
For the first time someone was giving me actual advice that worked, not an automatic response with a generic meaning.
I stopped running away from situations and stopped trying to avoid people I was in conflict with!
Instead, as Demetra teaches us, I started to observe, to listen and to analyze everything that happens to me, in order to find my own convictions, fears and beliefs that -now I know- create such problems in the first place.
Thanks to Demetra, I also know now – and without any doubt in my mind- that we are the masters of our own lives and that every dream of ours can come true if we learn how the universe works.
One lesson with Demetra inspires me more than any motivational book I’ve ever read!
People around me noticed that I became more motivated, confident and happy in a way that I wasn’t before!
I am so grateful to Demetra, and though I still have way to go, I know for sure and for the first time in my life that I am on the right path.
